The Chefz is a food delivery platform that allows customers to order a variety of items from a wide range of stores. That includes Elite restaurants, upper casual and casual restaurants, sweets, drinks, bakeries, coffee, flowers, and even perfumes delivered to end customers doorstep in time.

Notes About The Integration

  • The integration works with Tax-inclusive pricing only.
  • The Chefz will set a default 15% tax on all menu items and charges.
  • Branch working hours have to be configured inside your Chefz account.

Business Configurations In Foodics

1- Before enabling the integration, you need to do create a Charge in your Foodics account in order to successfully receive delivery orders with the following details:

  • Name: The chefz delivery charge
  • Type: Amount
  • Is Open Value: Yes
  • Apply this charge on all Order Types & Branches then assign the relevant Tax Group to the charge if applicable. Copy and paste the charge name as The chefz delivery charge name must be exactly the same otherwise the integration will not work porperly.

2- Make sure your branches have correct longtitude and latitude values.

3- Make sure to fill all menu items prepration times inside Fooidcs, if left blank The Chefz will default to 30 minutes.

Enabling The Integration

Note: To be able to use this integration, you must have a Chefz account. If you don't have an account, Contact The Chefz team to create your new account via this website: thechefz.co/en/apply-restaurant or you can contact their support team at: restaurentcare@thechefz.co.

  1. Log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.

  2. Navigate to the Marketplace page ---> Search for The Chefz under Food Aggregator category ---> Click Install.

  3. You will be navigated to The Chefz's panel to enter your Chefz's business credentials (Email/Phone number and password) then log in.

  4. Foodics will ask you to Authorize The Chefz to access your Foodics Account, click Authorize The Chefz To Access My Account to Proceed.

  5. After clicking Authorize, you will be taken to The Chefz dashboard page.

  6. After the successful authorization flow, please inform The Chefz team to configure the integration at their side.

  7. The Chefz will activate your account at their side and will sync the data with your Foodics account.

Menu Sync

You should Contact The Chefz to Sync your Menu and Branches settings for the first time after enabling the integration, However, any Menu updates after the initial sync will be automatically synced to The Chefz account.

How to Receive The Chefz Orders in Foodics Cashier

The Chefz orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.

FAQs

Q1: The Chefz is sending orders to my restaurant but I’m not receiving them in Foodics cashier application

A: Please check the below points

1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to the Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status.

2- Are there any pending orders from The Chefz?

If Yes:

Make sure you have implemented all needed steps to receive online orders as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.

In the cashier app, click HOME ---> Sync Data

Ask The Chefz to send new orders to test, orders should be received in the cashier

If No:

There is an issue at The Chefz's side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with The Chefz and inform them that there are no orders created from The Chefz in your Foodics account.
