Inventory Transactions from Orders

All Inventory Transactions are completed in the Console except 3 transactions from Orders.

They are called Order Transactions and they are three types:

1. Consumption from order: This transaction is created automatically when any product is sold from the Cashier and the product (or its modifiers) have ingredients. If the products don't have ingredients, there will not be a consumption transaction.

2. Return from order. This transaction is created automatically when an order is wasted in the Cashier. (because of Void or Return).

3. Waste from order. This transaction is created automatically when an order is returned from the Cashier without waste.

Order Transactions happen only with Cashier orders so it is not possible to create a consumption without an order, and the same for the waste and return transactions.

To review Order Transactions from The Console, you can go to the Inventory > More page, the choose Order Transactions.

To see any transaction's details, click on the transaction and you will find the order reference of the transaction, the items quantities and cost used in this order, and more details.
