Arabot is a conversational chatbot powered by machine learning and natural language processing technologies, that helps enterprises design a rich conversational experience with ease.

Arabot integration with Foodics will allow you to show menu to customers, and receive online orders from any device and through different channels including webchat, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Messenger.

Business Configurations in Foodics

  1. Create an Open value type Amount charge and apply it on all Order Types & Branches then assign the relevant Tax Group to the charge if applicable. Copy and paste the charge name as Arabot Charge name must be exactly the same as the one typed in the guide.

Enabling the integration

  1. log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.

  2. Navigate to the Marketplace page --> Search for Arabot under Online Ordering category --> Click Install.

  3. You will be navigated to Arabot's dashboard enter your Arabot's business credentials to sign in. If you don't have an account contact Arabot to register.

  4. Once logged in you will be navigated to Arabot's dashboard.

  5. In the bots listing, select the desired bot by clicking on it.

  6. From the left navigation menu go to --> Management, then click --> Integration, and select Foodics Integration --> click on Add Integration, then connect to Foodics.

  7. Foodics will ask you to Authorize Arabot to access your Foodics Account, click Authorize Arabot To Access My Account to Proceed.

  8. You will be Re-directed back to Arabot's Dashboard.

  9. Integration has been enabled successfully.

  10. Contact Arabot to Sync your menu to Arabot's connected account.

Menu Sync

You should Contact Arabot to Sync your Menu and Branches settings for the first time after successfully enabling the integration, However any Menu updates after the initial sync will be automatically synced to Arabot

How to Receive Arabot Orders in Foodics Cashier

Arabot orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.

FAQ:

Q1: Arabot is sending orders to my restaurant but I’m not receiving them in Foodics cashier application

A: Please check the below points

1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to the Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status

2- Are there any pending orders from Arabot?

If Yes:

Make sure you have implemented all needed steps to receive online orders as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.

In the cashier app, click HOME --> Sync Data

Ask Arabot to send new orders to test, orders should be received in the cashier

If No:

There is an issue at Arabot's side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with Arabot and inform them that there are no orders created from Arabot in your Foodics account.
