Connect Error Offline

When you receive the error Connect Error Offline from one of the connected devices in the Cashier (Printer, KDS, etc..), follow these steps to fix the issue:

  1. Make sure that all devices are connected to the same network.
  2. Make sure that the printer is electrically connected and the printer is on.
  3. Disconnect the network cable between the printer and the modem and connect it again.
  4. Make sure that the IP address for the devices added to the devices page is correct, you can verify the IP address by doing the following:
    • Printer: press on the reset button behind the printer for a couple of seconds, then a paper with the IP will be printed out.
    • Sub Cashier: Tap on Home at the bottom, then tap on Diagnostics.
    • KDS: Tap on Manage then Diagnostics.
    • Notifier: Tap on Manage then Diagnostics.
    • Display: Tap on the upper right corner (iPad in Arabic) or the upper left corner (iPad in English) then tap Diagnostics.
    • To edit the IP address tap on the Edit button next to the needed device then edit the IP.
  5. Restart the modem/printer and try again.
