Introduction

FeedUs is a technology company that has developed Saas-based solution for restaurant digital ordering systems. All orders that come from food delivery platforms are integrated into one system so that businesses can manage all orders through a single platform.

Additionally, the business will have a centralized menu where it can add, delete, or update items from FeedUs and have it synchronized instantly across all food delivery platforms. It is a unified platform that connects Hungerstation, Jahez, Marsool, Lugmety, Shgardi, Lavender, Careem Now, Toyou, and several other online ordering platforms directly to your Foodics POS system. It also provides a dashboard with consolidated reporting for orders & menu management, through the integration those orders are then sent directly to your Foodics POS and from their to the kitchen.

With FeedUs integration you are able to:

  • Aggregate all your online orders from integrated partners in FeedUs & have them automatically sent to Foodics POS & then to kitchen devices.

  • Menu changes made in Foodics will be reflected in FeedUs, which will be updated in real-time for all connected online channels and will therefore be able to be customized based on the online ordering platform per (location, time, or day of the week).

Business Configuration in Foodics

In order for the integration to work properly, you must ensure that your branches in Foodics are configured correctly:

  1. Ensure your Foodics branches have correct opening/closing timings.
  2. Ensure your Foodics branches have correct location information (latitude/longitude).

To have order channel wise segregation you need to create order tags in Foodics for each channel connected to your Feedus account following a similar format FeedUs - Jahez.

Notes:

  • FeedUs will not send delivery charges to Foodics.
  • FeedUs supports Tax Inclusive pricing only for now.

Enabling the integration

Note: You need to register with FeedUs in order to be able to use this integration. If you are not already registered with them, visit FeedUs to get your account now.

  1. log in to your Foodics console account at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.

  2. Navigate to Marketplace page ---> Search for FeedUs under Ordering Platforms category ---> Click on Install.

  3. You will be directed to FeedUs merchant panel to enter your FeedUs account credentials to log in.

  4. Navigate to the POS icon from the left navigation menu once you have logged into your FeedUs merchant account.

  5. You will be redirected to a page where you can find Foodics Integration under your profile details ---> click on Authorize.

  6. Foodics will ask you to Authorize FeedUs to access your Foodics Account, click Authorize FeedUs To Access My Account to Proceed.

  7. The integration has been enabled successfully.

Settings & Mapping

FeedUs team will handle the mapping and configurations after doing the below steps please reach out to FeedUs.

1.Branch Mapping:

After successful authentication, you will be redirected back to FeedUs POS page and you will see a popup listing all the branches that you have registered with Foodics. Now you need to map your Foodics branches with FeedUs so that you can receive orders.

2.Pull Menu:

From the Pull Menu section, you need to pull the menu from Foodics, FeedUs will pull the entire menu from Foodics and save it into FeedUs database. FeedUs will fetch all the information regarding the menu like products, categories, modifiers, and modifiers options.

Menu Sync

Any menu updates after the initial pull will be automatically reflected from Foodics to FeedUs.

FAQs

Q1: FeedUs is sending orders to my restaurant but I'm not receiving them in Foodics cashier application

A: Please check the below points

1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to the orders page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status

2- Are there any pending orders from FeedUs ?

If Yes:

  • Make sure you have implemented all needed steps to receive online orders as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article
  • In the cashier app, click HOME --> Sync Data
  • Ask FeedUs to send new orders to test, orders should be received at the cashier

If No:

  • There is an issue on FeedUs side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with FeedUs and inform them that there are no orders created from Feed us in your Foodics account.
