Fooder

Fooder is a smart solution provider, it offers a wide range of integrated products, that will facilitate your business’s daily operations. Fooder includes ordering service through WhatsApp, delivery service provider, customer support tool, marketing tool and analytics dashboard.

Fooder integration with Foodics will allow you to receive orders created in Fooder directly to your Foodics cashier application.

Business Configuration in Foodics

  1. Create a Menu Group for the integration to be pulled by Fooder, then add all the products that you wish to be present in Fooder and give it any name. The group can be selected in Menu and Settings Sync step 4.
  2. Create an Open value type Amount charge and apply it on all Order Types & Branches then assign the relevant Tax Group to the charge if applicable. Copy and paste the charge name as Fooder Charge name must be exactly the same as typed here.
  3. Ensure that branches longitude and latitude values are correct.

Enabling the integration

  1. log in to your Foodics console account at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with non owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration

  2. Navigate to Marketplace page --> Search for Fooder under Online Ordering category–> Click Install

  3. You will be directed to Fooder merchant panel, enter your Fooder account credentials to login. If you dont have an account visit https://gofooder.to create your own account.

  4. Once you sign in to Fooder merchant portal, navigate to Settings icon from the left navigations menu and select Api and Webhooks.

  5. You will be redirected to the page where you can find Foodics Integration under your profile deatils click it.

  6. Click on initiate foodics authorization button.

  7. Foodics will ask you to Authorize Fooder to access your Foodics Account, click Authorize Fooder To Access My Account to Proceed.

  8. Integration has been enabled successfully.

Menu and Settings Sync

After a successful authorization navigate to Fooder portal on this page you can start syncing your data from Foodics to Fooder, please make sure to sync the data in sequential order as mentioned below:

From the left navigation menu:

  1. Click on Branches icon ---> When redirected to branches page you can find Sync Branches button Click on it to sync your Foodics branches to Fooder.

  2. Click on categories icon ---> When redirected to Categories page you can find Sync Category button Click on it to sync your group assigned products categories.

  3. Click on modifier group icon ---> When redirected to modifier group page you can find Sync modifier button Click on it to sync your modifier options.

  4. Under the modifier group icon from the navigations menu there is an icon that contains Groups and menus Click on Groups ---> When redirected to groups page you can find Sync Menu Group button Click on it to sync your menu group that you wish to sync to Fooder (Only one menu group can be selected)

  5. click the same icon that contains Groups and menus Click on Menus ---> When redirected to Menu page you can find Sync Menu button Click on it to sync your menu that was extracted from the menu group.

  6. After syncing the above your foodics menu and settings are synced to fooder and any change you do in the menu or settings please re sync the changed enitity.

How to Receive Fooder Orders in Foodics Cashier

Fooder orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article

FAQ:

Q1: Fooder is sending orders to my restaurant but I'm not receiving them in Foodics cashier application

A: Please check the below points

1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status

2- Is there any pending orders from Fooder?

If Yes:

  • Make sure you have implemented all needed steps to receive online order as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article
  • In the cashier app, click HOME --> Sync Data
  • Ask Swift Order to send new orders to test, orders should be received in the cashier

If No:

  • There is an issue at Fooder side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with Fooder and inform them that there are no orders created from Fooder in your Foodics account.
